Our opening weekend (first weekend of May 2026) was a huge success! A massive thank you to everyone who came to see us and try out some burgers and sides! We will continue being open Friday-Sunday 11AM - 10.30PM every week from now.
-THE SMASH & SMOKE STORY-
Born in the garden at The Kings Head Docklow, Smash & Smoke is our messy little love letter to proper burgers, loaded fries and smoky BBQ flavours. It is big comfort food, cooked the way Ashley loves to eat it - stacked, saucy, smoky and not designed to be tidy.
The menu consists of juicy smash burgers, fully loaded dirty fries (perfect to share!) and other sides. We will also have different BBQ favorite specials on every week. Keep an eye on our socials to find our this week's specials and make sure to grab yours before they sell out!
Smash & Smoke 'shack' is located on our beer garden patio at the back of the pub. Get to it by walking through the bar to the garden or through the side gate next to the rear car park.
-HOW DOES IT WORK?-
Well, you can place and pay for your order at the Smash & Smoke serving hatch as well as at the bar inside the pub. When busy, we will ask you to collect a buzzer from the serving hatch. The buzzer will let you know when your order is ready to collect.
If you would like to order a takeaway and collect it from the pub, you can give us a ring on the landline 01568 760960 or message us on Facebook Messenger. You will then pay at collection.
