At The Kings Head Docklow, we serve proper home-cooked pub food from 11am till 10:30pm, 7 days a week. Perfect whether you're popping in for lunch, dinner, or a relaxed drink.
Behind the bar, you’ll find a great selection of local real ales, including Ludlow Gold and Wye Valley favourites HPA and Butty Bach, alongside regularly changing guest ales. We also stock local ciders like Robinsons Flagon Cider and Stowford Press.
Outside, our huge beer garden offers stunning views across the Herefordshire countryside, with custom pod seating to make use of the garden even on rainy days, complete with a children’s play area, making it ideal for families.
We’re proud to be a family-friendly pub, welcoming children and dogs alike — so everyone can feel at home.

Our Annual Beer Festival is approaching us! This year's festival will be held on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of August. Don't forget to add that to your calendar! This event has free entry. To find out more information about the event, click here. Don't forget to follow our social medias as we will post updates and sneak peaks the closer we get to the event. Our beer festival is the biggest event we do every year and one to definitely look forward to. We will be repeating Family Funday again this year on the beer festival Sunday!

SMASH & SMOKE GETTING POPULAR!
Since opening, S&S has been super popular on the weekends and people have been very pleased with their orders. We can’t thank everyone enough who has come down, ordered, shared, supported, waited patiently, given very valuable feedback, tagged us, taken photos and helped to spread the word since opening early May this year. We will continue serving juicy burgers, loaded fries and other BBQ favorites throughout this summer on Fridays (5pm-10.30pm), Saturdays and Sundays (11am-10.30pm) as well as bank holidays and special pub events like our annual beer festival in August.

OUR NEW SOFT SERVE MACHINE
As we are fully approaching the summer season and the weather is getting warmer, we have decided to get a soft serve machine!
You can now get an ice cream (vanilla, chocolate or both together) starting from £1.50. A perfect little treat that keeps children as well as adults happy.
The soft serve is able to be purchased outside at the Smash & Smoke serving hatch on most days of the week. We are also looking into doing sundaes and milkshakes this summer. To find out when those will be available, keep an eye on our social medias.

ENJOY THOSE SUNSETS AT THE PUB
What a great way to enjoy those summer sunsets than sitting in a pub beer garden with a drink in your hand. We are open till 11pm every day so you have plenty of time to watch the gorgeous sunset and finish your drink until calling it a night or moving inside the pub for another drink. We have loads of tables in the beer garden including seating is pods that are a little more weatherproof than a picnic bench. We are open every day of the week!
