Our huge beer garden is located at the back of the pub overlooking the gorgeous Herefordshire countryside.
We have custom pod seating to make use of the garden even on rainy or windy days. We also have picnic table seating in the patio area as well as the lawn. We do have some seating in front of the pub too for those who would prefer it.
The door to the beer garden from the bar is located on the left side of the bar after a slope. You can also enter the beer garden from the metal gate that is located next to the side car park. (photo on the left).
We have a very knowledgeable gardener looking after our beer garden as well as all the plants in the front of the pub all year around. Every year he adds things to the garden to make it look even more inviting.
One of our favourite things in the garden is the gorgeous wisteria that grows on the side fence as well as under the roof around the outside bar area. It normally blooms in the spring time.
We have a fenced children's play area in our garden. The play area consists of two towers with a bridge between them, a slide, two swings as well as a baby swing, a little climbing wall up to one of the towers and few other things we have added along the years like balance beams.
In the summer months, we sometimes have garden games our for our customers of all ages to enjoy.
As we are a dog-friendly pub, dogs are also welcome in the beer garden. We have water bowls available and normally keep some dog treats at the bar too. We do however ask you to keep your dog(s) on lead at all times and also clear after them.
Dogs are not allowed in the children's play area.
We also keep our restaurant as a dog-free area.
